Hello sailor!

What a beautiful Bristol morn. And looks who’s hanging out with us in the shop, Sailor Smith and his salty tattooed pals, handmade by the lovely Lina Löfstrand. Also, look at these treasure boxes by Lucy Roberts. Mmmm, treasure…….

Competition Time!

We have several lovely new members here at Blaze who have joined over the summer, including Lucy Roberts of Made By Lucy. She makes unusual gifts from lost and found objects, vintage fabrics, jigsaw puzzles and postage stamps.

We are giving away one of her beautiful rainbow fabric appliques – go to our facebook page and leave us a lovely comment and we’ll put your name in the hat, the winner will be announced on Tuesday September 25th.

Grand Opening

We would like to invite you to celebrate the opening of the revamped blaze shop with us on

Saturday March 10th between 2pm-9pm.

Nibble things edible and share a glass of something effervescent whilst enjoying the eclectic eccentricities of effects edited exclusively for your edification.

Over the last  weeks blaze has taken on a new identity with the inclusion of a whole new range of items to delight and amuse.

Alongside Hanne Rysgaard’s exquisite handmade porcelain ceramics and Kay Morgan’s beautifully crafted purses and brooches , we have added intriguing vintage items such as dresses, hats and bags from the 1940’s to the 1980’s, jewellery and collectibles, cameras, suitcases, sewing machines and toys.

Here you will see highly original hand made furniture fashioned entirely from reclaimed materials by Marcus FitzGibbon. Well chosen collectible objet d’art and jewellery by Jan Pemberton. Beautifully prepared bone china and Gallique discoveries by Louise Copping.Positively ambrosial broaches and pendants by Nell Nile. Cards and note books, not to mention a few pigs, by Kerry Day, a wide selection of books by Bristol’s foremost publisher Tangent Books, recycled leather bags and cushions by Lisa Bailey, and exclusively to blaze a very exciting range of hand made dresses, tops and trousers by Laurie Yeomans. All of these people live in Bristol and some of them will be at the launch…

We hope to see you here
